2022 Hurricane Fiona Relief fund poster(Facebook Event Cover).png

Hurricane Fiona made landfall on the island of Puerto Rico on Sunday September 18th.  Currently the Island is experiencing the devastation including wide spread flooding and 1.5 million people without electricity.  Gándara Center is taking steps to see how we can help.

As we speak the Gándara Center is working with state, local and community leaders as well as our connections on the island to access the current situation and need. While we obtain information on how we can best assist, we will be raising funds.  Once the need is determined we will use the money raised to send aide to the island.

Many of our employees at Gándara Center are from the Island of Puerto Rico as well as the people we served and just as we extended our services and hand when Hurricane Maria hit the island back in 2017, we are pleased to do it again.
